A discrete entrance on London's Berkeley Street leads to the opulent interior of this 300-seat restaurant venue. Laid out over the ground and basement floors, and linked by a grand spiral staircase, the restaurant, bars and private dining rooms create one of the largest restaurant clubs in London. This project required the site to be completely reconfigured: the interior was acoustically separated from the surrounding structure, new state-of-the-art kitchens were added, and complex mechanical and AV systems were integrated to create an evocative, glamorous dining and entertainment space, reminiscent of the cabaret clubs of 1930s Shanghai.
